Summer Reading is Here!!

Our theme for Summer Reading 2019 is going to be out of this world!! We are so excited about all the amazing activities we have planned for children Pre k-elementary grades. This summer is the 50th anniversary of the first “moonwalk”, so our theme, “A Universe of Stories”, will help us to celebrate this momentous event! Our calendar is full of fun and lively programs with special days set aside for story and craft times. We are even going to have a special event: Build an Alien, for the first 25 readers who complete their reading logs for Summer Reading. After a child is registered, we will supply the reading logs and stickers to track your children’s reading, along with a cool bag and book marks. There will also be drawings for prizes and lots or other great activities to engage your child and keep them reading!

Plan to make Lexington Public Library’s Summer Reading a part of your child’s summer.  Join us as we Blast Off to a fun and out of this world experience!!
