Covid 19 Update – CLOSED – BUT OPEN!

LATEST UPDATE:

We have been adding more free resources to the home page of our site. Many companies have stepped up and offered their sites for use without charge at this time. There are items for all ages!

The Library will stay closed until further notice. Our book drop has been closed, effective immediately. There will be no late fees! Please keep your books until the library reopens. We are doing our best to keep everyone healthy!

There is a display of free books, audiobooks and DVDs ready in the library entryway.  They will be available for people to take from 9-5 Monday through Friday.

Lexington Library offers curb side delivery.  If someone has a specific book they would like to check out, they can call the library (324-2151).  We will pull the books from the shelves, check them out to them and bag them.  When they arrive at the library they can either pick them up in the lobby or they can call us and someone will bring them out to them.  Limit 10 books and 5 DVDs.

There is a link on our home page for Tumble Books. This is a site full of free books and activities, to help chase away the boredom of staying inside.

The Lexington Public Library has suspending all programming at this time. All meeting room use by outside groups has also been suspended. Library programs suspended include book clubs, Novel Stitchers, story time, and Prime Time reading. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 324-2151.
