The Library is open as of July 1, with restrictions.
The library will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
The library will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday mornings for children accompanied by their parent or caregiver.
We will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for any at-risk population.
The book drop is now open so materials can be returned at any time. Returned items are quarantined for at least 72 hours.
Anyone, who would like to check out library materials, is encouraged to use the library’s curbside service. Call the library (324-2151) to arrange for curbside service. We will pull the books from the shelves, check them out to them and bag them. When they arrive at the library they can either pick them up in the lobby or they can call us and someone will bring them out to them.
The library is also offering printing services from your email account through curbside pick-up. Call the library to request printing services.
Wi-Fi is available around the outside of the building.
We have been adding more free resources to the home page of our site. Many companies have stepped up and offered their sites for use without charge at this time. There are items for all ages!There is a link on our home page for Tumble Books. This is a site full of free books and activities, to help chase away the boredom of staying inside.
The Lexington Public Library has suspending all programming at this time. All meeting room use by outside groups has also been suspended. Library programs suspended include book clubs, Novel Stitchers, story time, and Prime Time reading. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 324-2151.
